DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bristol South - Cadbury House

Lovely welcome on reception. Room laid out with extra bed as booked for 3. Great stay, unfortunately didn’t have time to use the extra facilities as car broke down so we had to use trains to get there at short notice. Will book again tho so we can take advantage of them.

Amazing room and facilities.

Cant understand why a guest who is paying to stay the night in the hotel after a wedding all day has to pay £10 to park overnight but guests at wedding who have parked all day and have not got a room booked dont have to pay nothing surely if you have booked and paid for a room parking should be free it feels like its another cost that dosent need to be charged

Check in good with Sam, bit confused finding room plus lifts not working no map, no water in the room no fridge basic TV package nothing exceptMarco Pierre white restaurant on site, nothing for kids to do, in all breakfast £20 per person

Food options are limited to mostly the MPW restaurant. Breakfast was superb. AC was not working in our suite which was a major problem for me as I swelter in heat. The staff found several fans to compensate and did their best to ameliorate the situation during a busy time due to weddings.

We booked a junior suite, the AC was broken so we were downgraded to a regular room The beds are very hard The housekeeper threw our bed covers over when she cleaned our rooms - didn’t properly make the bed - didn’t hoover the floor - crumbs from previous guests. Overall it was disappointing

Fabulous! Would revisit happily, only shame was we got there late and left early (airport stay over) - gorgeous hotel though, something for everyone.

This is wonderful property very convenient to Bristol airport (so on the flight path, some flight noise in the morning). Beautiful building on a gorgeous property. Staff were friendly (well most of them) The room was nicely laid out, bed comfortable, great pillows & bedding. Breakfast was amazing!

One of my favourite short breaks days ever. A beautiful location with fantastic facilities you must visit the restaurant because the steak is to absolutely die for. Very close to Chedder gorge, not too far from Bath or Bristol. The scenery was so pretty. Plenty of parking. Spa facilities were absolutely excellent. The staff are very accommodating friendly and helpful. We had a last minute change of circumstances which meant that our daughter had to come with us so they supplied a rollaway bed at no extra cost our daughter even ate for free. We really couldn’t have asked for more oh and cookies upon arrival, I’m sorry what ! Great touch.

Overall our stay was great and in an ideal location. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff provided a great service. The pool and jacuzzi was not as warm as expected despite being advertised as a heated pool Also their was limited gluten free options in the bar restaurant and breakfast which was a little disappointing.
