The property was below standards of a four star hotel. The carpet in the bedroom was stained the furniture was chipped and dated. The bathroom panel should have a health and safety warning it was broken in several places and glued back together. The breakfast was horrendous, as was the room it was in.would never return to this hotel. I really don't think it merits 3 stars. My advice would be stay clear of this hotel.

Loved walking to the castle ruins. Serene country setting with all the amenities of a fine restaurant and hotel room. Mary was especially helpful. She arranged lodging for us at our next destination. Went above and beyond.
