Staff were friendly, pool area deserted didn't look like it was maintained, en suite was shabby, cracked sink, food was ok although I didn't eat there much. There is a lift which is a plus and there are a couple of English channels which come on TV. If your looking for cheap and cheerful then this is one of the place's you can go but don't go with high expectations. Nothing outside hotel need to get cab to centre. I did feel pretty safe though for those concerned. Would I use again... No next time I rather pay extra for a much nicer Hotel

This is not a 3, 2 or even a 1 star hotel. Situated miles away from everywhere, at 22 km (15 miles from the airport with no taxis about to take you back). The only compensation is the staff; frienfdly & they had to be, otherwise no one would want to be in the hotel. Old decor, old beddings & beds, old draperies, old, old, old.......Everything.
very basic standard… room was clean but we needed to request a change for the smelly cigarette smoky room we were first given. The bathroom was in need of a total renovation..Food was bland, repetitive and the dining room is like a mess hall. Staff were pleasant and friendly, but 3 stars is way above the level of this hotel
No shampoo or shower gel, no parking, tv plug broken, etc
On my first visit to Tunisia I found this hotel a delight. Nice environment and friendly staff. The taxi drivers were always willing to go the extra mile (excuse the pun) to help you get a great photo or your postcards mailed in nearby La Marsa. The pool and environs were very conducive to lounging and the beach is literally steps down the path. I think Acqua Viva was a great place at a great price!

This Hotel was fine for our family holiday - most of the staff were kind and friendly - food was decent, indoor pool was ok - room was satisfactory, it was right by the beach and although it was a long way from the city it was nice to be a bit exclusive. You get what you pay for and this was a 3 star hotel - it was cheap - Overall we were definitely satisfied and might even return. Don't know why some ppl are complaining here
