Comfortable room. Lovely setting in beautiful grounds. Great location very accessible to transport routes . Tasty food and helpful restaurant and bar staff .

Booked a dog friendly room only to be told when I tried to book a table for dinner that dogs were not allowed to be left in the room whilst we had dinner . Charged £20 per dog but then not allowed for leave them in the room even though we had a crate for them. Would not have minded if this was stated as we booked but it wasn’t , just that dogs were allowed and there would be a charge .

Location, garden, terraces, staff generally very good.

Room not particularly clean, furniture scuffed, bathroom washbasin chipped, no fridge, no a/c (despite being described as a de-luxe room), not serviced on 2nd day despite specific request and assurance that it would be (had to ask for fresh towels on our return to the room around midnight).

2nd trip to the lovely Gorse great welcome again from Giri and his beard 😀

Didn’t think the breakfast was to the standard of the evening meals tasty but mushrooms were cold and quite a small portion for the price

I have stayed at Gorse Hill a few times and it’s a lovely clam place in a beautiful area outside of Woking. The cooked breakfast included is wonderful and well worth it. Free ample parking

The deluxe room do not have seats only a armchairs and no under counter fridge for drinks The junior suite only has that and really the only choice in the main building
