Beds was comfortable enough and room was okay.

I arrived around 23:00 after a 200 mile drive from up north on a Sunday night. I arrived in the room to find clutter left from previous guest, half a pint of milk that had gone stagnant and tags from clothes that was left on the bedside cabinet. I was that exhausted I just wanted some well needed rest. Until around 1:30am I woke up to loud shouting from another guest next door. This went on until 3:00am until the police was eventually called out to remove the guests. No compensation or refund for the nights stay, I was booked in for the Monday night still haven’t received my refund for this night either. Overall terrible experience never again.

Beautiful location, nicely done out, good bar with reasonable prices and good food.

Great team. Friendly and very professional. The establishment was immaculately clean and in an excellent. State of pair. A wonderfully relaxing environment with mature well maintained gardens. Quintessentially English country manor. Marvellous.

Very limited refreshments in the room. Extremely under staffed, resulting in very long waits in the restaurant and bar. Room not clean resulting in moving to another room.

Short staffed on the Sunday, lack of information on facilities (website not working).when ringing from the room, there was no reply from reception. Better staffed on Monday morning.
