Hotel Villas Plat

Fantastic stay. Rooms clean. Food very good. We had dinner buffet a few times and the choice was amazing. Beaches were really good with quiet one down the steps to the right facing the sea. Rooms very clean. Staff so helpful. Buses at top of hill, 20 min ride into olt town and cavat lovely as well. Band and keyboard man were very good entertainment. You could get a higher star hotel if you wanted, but for the price this was fantastic. Pool overlooking the sea and boats to old town 5 minutes down the dlope. Thank you for a lovely stay.

On entering we were greeted by a gentleman at reception who was so thorough in completing the check in process and explaining where things were, showing us to where our room would be. He really did make us feel welcomed and despite us coming early allowed us to use the facilities, saying he would text us when the room was ready. The pool was lovely, busy with families enjoying themselves so a short wait was required for a sun bed and then after a small hunt we found spare umbrellas behind the bar. The bar and restaurant is cash only, a steep withdrawal fee from the ATM but we only needed that once. The gym is old school which I loved, no air conditioning and aging machines but you feel that you’ve had a sauna and a sweaty workout which makes a refreshing change from the standard hotel gym you normally see. We received the text as promised for our room and found to have a slightly dated but very clean room . The stay was to spend time outside and not in the room so that was fine, the shower was amazing and air conditioning perfect. The evening entertainment was so much fun, a local man on his keyboard entertaining us all while we ate, we even had a dance, lots of enthusiasm and good tunes along with many local ones. The food was excellent and fairly priced, beer was cold, that’s all we required. Breakfast which was included was a bit basic but kept you going until lunch. Overall an old romantic feel, excellent customer service and superb views. Thank you!

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and for five of those nights we had no air conditioning. We contacted front desk and would send handy man he would reset unit and in 10 minutes it would shut off. The bed for the third guest in our room was a cot that was the most uncomfortable piece of furniture it was a though sleeping directly on pile wood. The buffet breakfast was very limited and not particularly clean. Would not recommend

Amazing service and location

Very nice location between two beaches and a great view with big rooms. I like that they cleaned our room every day. Good price with breakfast and all amenities. The hotel needs a renovation though. There was a problem with our AC, our sink and our shower. There were almost no tools for the little kitchen.

Nice place with some good things and not so good things (in my opinion) Good : Friendly staff at all locations. Be at the reception or the restaurant. The beach is close by so you can literally spend the day there and not have to travel. The swimming pool is decent. The rooms are cleaned well. There is live music in the evening around the restaurant which gave a nice ambience and entertainment while enjoying the meal. Not so good: WiFi is not available in the rooms. At least the ones we stayed. For some reason the mobile data was also not good reception in the rooms. My wife had a good one so can’t complain about network reception totally! Breakfast is just ok. Nothing that you would look forward to as a special one. Just that we needed something to eat and is included we would eat the breakfast! We had dinner at the restaurant and we felt the food was just ok.

There is no wifi in the rooms. It is a bit far from the city. However, it is very quiet and the beaches around the hotel are incredible.
