Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort - Adults Only

Die Unterkunft befindet sich auf einer kleinen Insel, die nur aus dem Resort besteht. Jedes Bungalow hat ein Stück Strand vor sich, das wirkt sehr privat. Gefallen hat uns auch die Aussendusche. Sehr besonders ist das ausserordentlich freundliche Personal. Man wird direkt beim Flughafen begrüsst und wartet in einer eigenen Lounge auf das Gepäck. Jeder Gast hat sein eigenes Schnorchel-Equipment und ein eigenes Fahrrad zur Verfügung. Jedem Bungalow steht ein Stand-up-Paddle und ein Kanu zur Verfügung. Das Resort befindet sich nahe beim Flughafen, das stört aber überhaupt nicht, da es pro Tag nur ganz wenige Flugbewegungen gibt. Wir haben nichts davon bemerkt.

Wir hätten erwartet, dass wir von der Rezeption aktiv Ausflugsmöglichkeiten vorgeschlagen erhalten.

Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island is a beautiful resort located right at the stunning lagoon. This is the second time we stayed here and loved it again. The staff is exceptionally friendly - a big meitaki atupaka (thank you very much!) to Luke, Teri, Nocy and Titi who went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome. We were unlucky with the weather this time as it was mostly rainy except for our last two days. Nevertheless it was still beautiful and this is a great place to be - rain or shine - to do nothing and just relax. The only area where this resort can still do better is the food - Blue Lagoon (dinner) and Koru Cafe (lunch) are within walking distance and have much better fish!

Had an amazing few days staying in one of the beach side lodges. Staff were very welcoming and always available to help. Cleanliness, food and activities all great. Particular thank you to Nocy, Luke, Rosie, Kyla, Mere and Mati. We look forward to returning.

we had the most memorable stay at this resort! Highly recommend the overwater bungalow if you are staying at the resort. there is nothing like waking up and dipping straight into the bluest, most beautiful lagoon. We spent so much time in the lagoon enjoying the water and watching colourful fish swim by- truly a highlight and memories made that I will never forget. The resort is located on its own little island- when we arrived we were speechless, truly found a slice of paradise. Loved riding our bicycles underneath perfectly placed palm trees and the most beautiful gardens (hibiscus everywhere) the resort premises are looked after so well. We never felt like leaving the resort to try out different restaurants, the food was so delicious and we were really looking forward to each meal. There were soo many healthy options and the Ika mata you have got to try (Ordered the dish every single day haha) ! The biggest thank you also to Nocy, Luke, Jerry, Kula and Plumber Chris —- you all went above and beyond with your friendliness, fun jokes and your above and beyond service. You made a huge impact on how much we loved our stay— biggest good morning smiles and you even remembered all our names! What a stay— our hearts are soo incredibly full with memories we will never forget.

Cannot say enough about this beautiful place!! From landing at the airport, driven to the resort, food, drinks, bungalows!! All top notch. The staff was amazing, Luke with his big smile, Mere with her amazing cappuccinos and such a great smile and kindness, Rosie was so much fun, Ronelle was amazinginly kind and recommended the best tour!! He was so much fun and knowledgeable!! Do the private lagoon tour, it was amazing with DJ and Maui!

Loved it! Cannot speak highly enough of the place. So relaxing, v clean great food and staff. (Especialky luke and the lady with the gold tooth) wehad 3 nights here and by the time we left we were so relaxed it felt lime I had a weeks holiday. The room - deluxe beachfront bungalow - was lovely. So quiey and peaceful. Would recommend and come again

My wife and I just completed a 7 night stay in room 8501, an over the water bungalow, at the resort. We absolutely loved almost everything about our stay. #1 Staff: WOW.... what great people. So friendly, so helpful. Particular shout outs to Jerry, Luke, Teri and Noci (she's amazing). # 2 Resort: Just amazing. Room, grounds, etc. Fantastic # 3 Waters: Those blues. # 4 Bishop Cruise Private Tour: 100% worth it and the most amazing deserted islands and waters. Couple of other thoughts: #3 Food: We'd only rate the dinners a 2.5. We understand getting food to the island is tricky. We appreciate the pricing was appropriate for the quality. #4 Linens & Towels: Extremely rough. Maybe some fabric softener? Also, we did receive a couple of sheets that were 'laundered' but still had significant stains on them. Might want to add bleach to properly clean them. Having said that... We had the most amazing vacation at the resort and with the staff.

This is my 2nd review of this resort, and my husband and I just wanted to acknowledge the excellent customer service that the staff provide their customers. We had only planned a 4 night stay at the Private Island and we were to stay on the other side of the island at another resort for an additional 4 nights. We spent 1 night at that resort and knew it was not for us. I called the resort at 8am and spoke with Ron at the front desk and within 5 mins we were booked back into the resort and into our old room. Jason, the Manager, was so concerned about us that he personally came and got us and brought us back to the resort. When we arrived, the staff came out and all gave us big hugs and said welcome home. And that is exactly what it felt like, home. Our last 3 nights on the island were wonderful, and we will definitely be back. Thank you to all - Restaurant area: Teri, Rosie, Mere, Luke, Nocy, Jerry, and Rawania (spelling?). Front Desk: Ron, Kula, Patti, Shannon and Jason (Jason (manager), you are amazing and have a great team - and it starts from the top!). Activities: Kay (hope you're feeling better Kay). Garden & Maintenance people were super friendly and would stop, chat with us and answer questions, with detail, and explain the gardens and flowers/plants. I know I missed a few names, but everyone is exceptional at this resort and thank you for making our holiday a time to remember.

Had the most amazing stay at Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort. This was our second time visiting the resort and we were treated like royalty for returning. Everything from the staff to the food exceeded our expectations. Luke from the waitstaff team was very personable and made sure to look after us every meal, treating us as if we were friends The views are outstanding from all around the island and we cannot wait to return again. Thankyou everyone for a great few days!!
