Arenal Manoa & Hot Springs Resort

Absolutely beautiful hotel, fully immersed in nature. The staff are SO friendly and lovely, it's such a special place to be and the view is incredible. Highly recommended, you will have a wonderful time!

We stayed at Arenal Manoa for 5 days for spring break and it was a fantastic experience. You could spend the entire 4 days within the property, the hot springs were great, they have 7 different hot springs that we went to. The view of Mount Arenal from the property was so clear that on the first day we thought we were dreaming They also have a number of activities that you can book ahead or during the stay. We had some great casada's at the restaurant. The morning breakfast had a bit of everything, even my picky daughter was able to find something to eat everyday. We had 2 dinners at the restaurant and the rest of the days we went out to explore the town of La Fortuna nearby. The property is very well kept very private. The rooms are appropriately sized and they where very clean, the cleaning service was great. We would come everyday after our day of activities to a clean and welcoming room We just wish we could have spent our entire week in Arenal Manoa. Lots more things and activities possible.

My adult daughter and I stayed in a Chato Suite. The peace and tranquility of the space was unparalleled. We had our own small pool, which was perfectly heated. The landscaping on the property is beautiful, great for birders. The on-property restaurants have excellent food and service. The spa is on a river, and the massages could not have been more relaxing. We finally had to make ourselves go into La Fortuna to experience the town, but we could have stayed on the property the entire time.

We stayed at Arenal Manoa Resort & Hot Springs and honestly, in a Chato Suite, and it was on the whole, a wonderful experience. The setting is fabulous, right in the middle of lush greenery with views of the Arenal volcano (when the clouds clear!). The whole place feels really peaceful and spread out, which we loved. It’s a big property, but that actually adds to the relaxed vibe rather than feeling overly crowded. It’s just a 5-minute drive into town; we used Uber as it was really inexpensive and was safe and reliable. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a private pool and terrace to sit out on. Waking up to that view every morning was a highlight. One of the best parts was definitely the hotels own hot springs. They’re well maintained and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We spent a lot of time just chilling there with a drink or two and enjoyed the sushi a couple of times. All of the staff were also amazing, really friendly, professional, courteous and extremely helpful the whole time, which makes a massive difference. We felt very welcome and valued. The whole place just feels calm and easy. The food was generally good too, especially the sushi. We had breakfast at our room once, and although it was lovely, obviously by the time it reached our room was not as hot as we like it. One issue in the main restaurant for breakfast was that on the egg/omelette station there is no separation of equipment for cooking for vegetarian. So, we would suggest that some specific pans and tools for vegetarians be provided. Annoyingly, neither of the two toasters worked properly, just warmed the bread VERY slowly even going through three times. Small things easily resolved. We didn’t eat dinner at the restaurant, so cannot comment on that. The resort is quite spread out, so you might do a bit of walking (or simply call reception for a shuttle ride), and the Wi-Fi can be a bit hit and miss, but no big deal. Overall, we had loved our stay and would definitely recommend it. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, nature, and relaxation, exactly what you want from Costa Rica and a top-quality hotel. Tip: Get Chato Suite if you can....well worth it in our opinion.

We had an amazing stay at Arenal Manoa. We stayed in one of the new villas. Stunning!! We enjoyed time in our private pool/patio every afternoon. The staff was incredibly friendly Breakfast buffet was fantastic (and nice that they offered a very early morning light breakfast for the day we had an early morning excursion). We enjoyed the hot springs in the evening. Beautiful property very conveniently located!
