Great experience at Arenal Manoa resort. Beautiful grounds, nice rooms/great views, fantastic service, loved the pools, great breakfast/good food. Great value for money. Would highly recommend it.

I loved everything

This resort was amazing! Everything was immaculate. Staff made sure everything was perfect and made us feel special. Every staff member we encountered went the extra mile to make sure we were happy in paradise! Resort was the perfect size, with plenty to do, and a short drive to La Fortuna. Food was exceptional also- especially the breakfast buffet!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful resort. The lush surroundings and stunning volcano views were magnificent! The staff were all professional and friendly. Excellent service throughout our stay. Our junior suite, however, was a bit run down as was the bathroom. Also, there were no shelves or dresser for our clothes - only a closet.

Don;t miss the breakfast! Great way to start the day!

Best trip and best resort I've ever been to. My wife and I took our two teenage kids to Costa Rica. We stayed three days in Tamarindo and three days at Arenal Manoa. Our beach portion was outstanding, but the Arenal/Fortuna portion was unreal. We did the activities in the area, went to town to eat, and everything was awesome, but this resort was unbelievable. The setting is peaceful and stunning basically anywhere you're at on the resort. We splurged on one of the Chato Suites and wouldn't do it any other way. The room and bathroom were both spacious, but the outdoor patio was one of the coolest things I've seen. Plenty of places to sit and relax, and just watch and listen to the noises of the birds and other wildlife. I'm not a morning person at all, but I was up at 6:30am each day to sit on the patio with a coffee and enjoy the setting. The pool was perfect to cool off in and just chill. Cleanliness was top notch in all areas. The food here was delicious as well. Breakfast has all the things to please any palate, from omelets to French toast to fresh fruit. We also had pizza and sushi, both of which were tasty. Joe was a common name we remember as someone who was one of many who made us feel welcome and waited on. The customer service in all parts of the resort was clearly a priority for them, as we never felt like a burden. Angelica in the office set the tone right away at check in and we felt that way until we left. Hoping we can make it back here again some day!
