Cascade Gardens

Friendly staff, super location only a very short walk to the boardwalk and restaurants. The bed were very comfortable.

The bathroom was a bit dated. We were on the third floor and had to carry our suitcases up as there is no elevator.

Close to the town centre and waterfront area, with easy parking on site and friendly staff. Good aircon. Decent washing machine, very old dryer that only works for short periods at a time. Wifi mostly OK. Milk/tea/coffee/sugar provided. Cute cat living in the reception area!

A few small things that if addressed would make things much better: You have to pick up shampoo/conditioner at the reception, rather than it being in your room when you arrive - so good luck if you arrive after reception closes! There was no duvet for the bed, only a top sheet and some mink blankets in the wardrobe. They forgot to complete the apparently scheduled service in the middle of my 2 week stay. No cleaning amenities provided aside from dishwashing liquid to wipe down surfaces etc. Need to bring your own laundry powder. The bin in the kitchen would benefit from a lid. The area is quite noisy with people on the streets yelling at night etc, and there is little soundproofing if others are partying/playing loud music in the complex. If you are wanting somewhere to stay while working, perhaps try a different place.

The staff are nice and there is a really big cat called bruiser.

The property is old and could do with some maintenance, but I guess it is priced according.
