The Landsby

Bait and switch! The room advertised a "King room with balcony." They didn't mention you had to remove the table and two chairs in order to fully open the doors and get OUT on the balcony. The price paid for this non-amenity? $536 for one night - 19 hours to be exact.

We chose to spend the holiday at the Landsby in Solvang again because it's not only conveniently located for strolling around town, but also notable for its comfortable rooms and welcoming staff. Its onsite Mad+Vin restaurant with adjoining bar also offer delicious options for breakfast as well as dinner. This year's Christmas-night dinner was especially nice (dinner reservations are recommended at any time of year).

The location was perfect. Also having a restaurant in the hotel was convenient. Good food and service.

Our bathroom sink did not drain properly and kept filling up with water.

Locations is great. Decent facilities.

No availability for guests to the hotel restaurant was a big miss, staff could be better trained.

The property was a great location to be around everything. As we checked in we saw they had hot cocoa with marshmallows and candy canes. There is a delicious bakery right next door.

Perfect location. Walking distance of events, shops, restaurants, etc. Rooms are very nice and clean. Beautiful property. Staff is attentive and courteous. Food in restaurant was delicious. Plenty of parking. Loved the fire pits. Reasonable price. Will stay here again.

Its a beautiful hotel with an amazing restaurant and bar. The check in and check out process was so simple and seamless. The accommodations were beautiful and so cozy. We loved it much, cannot recommend this hotel enough!~
