This hotel was fabulous! The staff was wonderful and the private room felt like a retreat. It was such a wonderful and tranquil place. Breakfast was wonderful in the morning and everything else was just fabulous.

"A hidden gem!"

An absolute gem! The drive from the airport is 100% worth it! Very clean, great attention to detail, private tours, the chef is amazing and the staff was absolutely the best we ever experienced! Andreas (Macho) is an incredible human being, our forever friend in Costa Rica now! Manrique went above and beyond for our anniversary dinner! Andreea at the pool bar makes the best drinks and very fun to chat with! Jo is very attentive and friendly! All together an amazing staff and we can’t wait to be back!

We loved this property for our 1 week stay. It was secluded away from the main road, very clean, and all the staff were very helpful and displayed excellent service. The view from our private bungalow was phenomenal, and we especially loved the swim up pool bar. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which was buffet style and had a wide variety of options, and our evening meals were always delicious. They made transportation to and from the airport incredibly easy and convenient, which was an added bonus. Overall, we would recommend Lomas del Volcán to anyone considering staying in Arenal.

Absolutely amazing experience! The hotel view was stunning, far better than expected. Photos honestly don’t do it justice. Everything from the atmosphere to the scenery made it unforgettable!

We have stayed here and at Los Lagos. If you have kids definitely do Los Lagos. If you want a higher end vibe and no kids do this one. Beds are amazing, grounds beautiful. Food is very meh and so is the staff. At los Lagos the rooms are super 70s and outdated but the food is better and staff amazing. Would recommend either though!
