Hotel Lomas del Volcán

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights as a family with two small kids. The resort is very well managed and part of a beautiful tropical rainforest with a dedicated trail for your own private walk (around 30 minutes). The hotel has two spacious pools (and a jacuzzi) with a nice pool bar. The food in the Restaurant was good so we stayed most of the time there for dining. The bungalows are spacious with very comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our relaxing stay very much and highly recommend it.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we were not disappointed one bit. All of the staff here is nice, welcoming, and informative. The hotel itself is so clean and open, not to mention how beautiful, peaceful, and the environment around it is.

We have a great time, the hotel stuff is very friendly and the restaurant is very good.

Property is great. WiFi tv did not connect. Hotel does not have hot natural springs, which many other hotels offer on the right side of the major road.

We had a wonderful stay at Lomas del Volcán! The service was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the entire property felt like a peaceful retreat nestled in the jungle. The rooms are private, spacious, and offer stunning views of Arenal Volcano. One of our favorite features was the heated pool — it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. We also loved how close the hotel is to town. It was just a short drive to great restaurants, shops, and activities, yet still felt secluded and quiet. From the beautiful grounds to the attentive staff and excellent amenities, Lomas del Volcán exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay near Arenal!

The resort was a fair distance off of the main road. The lobby was open air with lighted pathways to each bungalow. There was a formal restaurant that had extensive options with outdoor and indoor seating and a view of the volcano. The pool area had a hot tub and multiple pools with a swim up bar and a great menu of bar food. The pizza was perfect for two. Our bungalow had a large walk in shower, a toilet, and a bidet. There was a front porch with a bench and a back porch with outdoor seating. We loved listening to all of the animals and creatures sing and chatter as we enjoyed our time in the jungle.

Absolutely beautiful place and wonderful staff. I would live there if I could!
