"Good overall stay in Edgewater"

We stayed one night here in Edgewater and had a nice stay. The hotel was clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. We were on the first floor and could hear people above us so I would get on the top floor if possible. Otherwise it was quiet. Also the pool and hot tub are outside so they were closed for the season which was disappointing. We left early and did not partake of the breakfast. There is a nice gas station/ convenience store nearby but not much else to walk to if you are looking for proximety to restaurants.

"Terrible!"

We have stayed here before and had a reasonable experience. Not so now. It is badly run down. The room had a bad stench of mold. The carpet was filthy and torn. The furniture was broken. The wall paper was peeling off. The AC was terribly loud and woke us up many time per night. There was no restaurant or bar service in the evenings. The power in the bathroom was out and not repaired even with several requests.

We had a four night stay and the room was never serviced with fresh linens or towels. We made comments to the front desk staff, but had troubles trying to get the room care. After standing our ground on the level of service, the hotel management sent a request to corporate, and they gave us a coupon for extra night stay because of the housekeeping situation.

"Misleading listing"

The "restaurant" and "bar" doesn't exist. The only option is coming downstairs during breakfast time where you get charged for a regular continental breakfast by item. There is no restaurant location it is just the lobby. I booked this location thinking we would have an option for a quick dinner and be able to go to the bar for some drinks. Look for other options if that's your plan. If you just want somewhere clean to sleep, this works!
