This hotel is in a fairly good position for visiting the Messe. If the management spent a little on improving the lighting in the rooms, it would make a lot of difference. The lighting provided is awfull, dull and makes it difficult to even read a newspaper. The breakfast was not good and again would not cost a lot to improve, even charging a little more would be acceptable. We were staying for business at the Messe and so the hotel rates increase for the period but the level of comfort and quality of service does not alter. I would recommend this hotel if it made more of an effort.

Comfortable small hotel less than 10 mins walk from Konstablerwache S/U Bahn with a convenient tram stop nearby. Great area for restaurants and shopping(recommend Greek Ariston)and felt safe to walk after dark. Friendly and helpful staff particularly afternoon/evening and good breakfast buffet that you pay for if you have it. Only small negative is hot water in my shower ran very slowly. No real amenities in the hotel but a drinks vending machine in the lobby. Wifi was faultless and free. I would recommend it if you are not planning on spending a long time in your room.

10 minutes walk to station n taxies waiting in the cab rank did not want to fetch us to hotel , 1 km away! No eateries nearby except an italian restaurant. However there is a nearby retail food outlet Reve round the corner Room does not have kettle or provide water to drink overall for the prize i paid, i have no compliants. Don t expect bell hop or cinceirge services or parking (on street)

Decoration a little tired but good basic hotel - warm, clean, tidy and comfortable! Staff great help and close to transport links for Christmas markets. Great weekend!

Stayed a long weekend here to visit family. Furnishings a bit dated but room clean and tidy. Ok for location and price. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in room rather than machine in reception which you couldn't access after reception shut!!

Rooms clean and tidy. Great value for a short stay. Could tend to be a bit noisy if hotel was full in peak season especially if your in a room by the lift. Lift is old and doors slam. Other than that definite high 3 star rating.

A very pleasant hotel located in an actual neighbourhood, but still very close to the U5 for transit. It is within easy walking distance to the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek. Good, varied breakfast. Although there is no airconditioning, it was not very hot and the big windows open to allow air to circulate. Wifi worked well.

Early checkout is a nice feature since I needed to leave at 6AM to catch an early flight, was told by receptionist to just leave the key in your room and close the door and no need to see anyone in the lobby since the lobby is open only from 7AM till 11PM. No complaints, room had free and speedy internet, everything was spotlessly clean, room is modern. Receptionist spoke good English which was good since I don't speak German. Just a warning for those with a vehicle. Parking rate at hotel is reasonable and likely your only choice. There is very limited parking in that neighborhood since the parking is restricted to residents with permits only and there is a very limited and very inconvenient window where you can shortly park your car free of charge. Given that the hotel is next door to the police station, you probably don't want to risk parking outside of the free permitted hours to non-residents with all the police cars parked around the hotel.

I really did not like the stating the tv never work they dont have any wake-up calls and they giveme a none wirking clock dont even have any coffee or water was no climate control in the room elevator was out of service the plase was clean and the location was pretty decent I dont think it is a 3 stars hotel in my opinion
