Stockwood Hotel

The price is exceptionally cheap but remember, you get what you pay for. It is situated very close to Luton Airport but you will lucky to be able to park your car in the hotel car park. Our room was downstairs, with no fire exit. The carpets were stained and the room very depressing. Not a good start to the holiday!

car park no bigger than a back yard. no parking close by either. the booking confirmation. said full breakfast, it was continental which is what we did not want. if i had seen continental breakfast anywhere on the hotel description, i would not have booked the hotel. honest hotel descriptions would be appreciated.

Was attending a course at the snow dome at Hemel Hempstead, hotel was just perfect and close to the dome. Breakfast was delicious.

Enjoyable stay.Staff very pleasant and helpful.Room quiet,comfortable and clean Continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise,plenty to keep you going throughout the morning.

Friendly, better value than airport hotels, continental self service breakfast was a bonus, parking fine, pub and shop very close by. Would come again when flying from Luton.

Ideal for an overnight stay between business trips in the Luton area. Good wifi and clean & comfortable room.

Staying overnight for an early flight from Luton. Area did not feel good. Car park tiny and no space available, had to park on public car park nearby which I was weary of. Hotel info said there was a bar, however this was a row of bottles behind a very 'uninviting' reception. Room was in attic, banged my head on the ceiling 3 times, was very cold and quilt was very thin. Very poor standard / basic room. Said breakfast was from 6am, I arrived for breakfast at 6.15am and the door was unlocked. It was duly unlocked for me, but the urn for hot water was not ready, so I had to leave at 6.30am without a morning cup of tea. Very poor value for money, I would not stay here again!
