the positives: the grounds of the hotel are incredible & the view is second to none. The pool is great. The staff is friendly - although I didn’t see much of them. Sadly - the interiors are dated and furniture in the rooms is due for an update (there were tears in the couch upholstery in our room / very dated linens on a chaise). This property has so much potential - I’d love to see it get an aesthetic refresh. Also good to note - the wifi wasn’t reliable.

We booked this hotel last minute as we were shopping late in the nearby outlet mall. We ended up having a very comfortable stay, the staff is very helpful and friendly. There are two pools onsite with beautiful views and the food at the restaurant is delicious! Their Chianti reserve wine is amazing and such a steal.

Not only was this property as stunning as in the pictures, but the comfort and customer service were top notch. Nataly at the front desk had incredible English and made us feel so welcome and at ease. Yummy food in the restaurant. (A good amount of vegetarian options.) The pools are just lovely. And the ever present sound of the fountain was so peaceful. If we are ever so fortunate to return to the Tuscan countryside, we will absolutely come back here.

Amazing property with two beautiful pools and access to a lush forest with small trails for kids. We stayed 8 nights and enjoyed the amenities, breakfasts, small farm and proximity with Florence and smaller villages.

Lovely location. Service and facilities are marginal and could be much much better. We love the postcard scenery and the excellent location allowing for day trips throughout Tuscany. Front desk manager is rude and unpleasant through a number of interaction. Needs to reconsider his career in the services industry.

Villa Margherita at La Palagina is an amazing place to enjoy the awesomeness of Tuscany with a large group of friends and/or family. We were 9 people and it was perfect for all of us to stay in comfort in a characteristic Tuscan villa. The pool is perfect for hot afternoons and the outside seating area is phenomenal for a dinner al fresco. Absolutely recommended.

This hotel is completely underrated! Absolutely beautiful, peaceful location with amazing views. The grounds are very well-maintained and picturesque, and there is a lot of space. The restaurant is fantastic, the food was absolutely exceptional, as were the wine recommendations from our waiter. They also make some great cocktails. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a sort of Victorian style with a lot of charm. The staff was super friendly,
