Views were amazing. Pool was cold, but refreshing. Not much for food options. Would also be prepared with refreshments of your own. A/C didn't work well so we sweated out 2 nights.

This place was everything and more. You truly get the feeling you’re in Tuscany. With beauty around you everywhere you turn. The staff was exceptional... especially Renalto!!! He catered to my every request without any hesitation. I would truly recommend this place for its amazing service from the entire staff to the grounds of the location of the hotel!!!

Had an amazing stay at this place. The staff was very accommodating (i.e. after operating hours meal provided despite being in closing process). Lounging in the big infinity pool overlooking a great view or waling in the countryside was a very memorable experience and a welcome reprieve from the cities. The cottage I stayed at was cool although I'd recommend the bathroom and kitchen be updated.

This property was located in a beautiful area. The breakfast was very nice. If you are visiting here to visit Florence, it is a bit of a drive. Also, you will have to carry or roll luggage over gravel in areas to get from the parking area to the hotel.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with lovely pools and grounds. My only criticism would be that the showers could be renewed.

Amazing hotel, we ate in the onsite restaurant every night which was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. We were on the ground floor next to the main entrance which was noisy at times with people arriving however this didn’t effect us too much. The views from the villa and pool area are stunning. Staff are all friendly and helpful.

My wife and I stayed a night here on our way up from the Amalfi Coast to Florence. Hotel La Palagina was nicely appointed on inside and has beautiful views of the Chianti countryside and the surrounding vineyard and olive groves on outside. The service was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the house-made chianti and olive oil and both the dinner and breakfast we had at the restaurant were excellent (my wife really appreciated the gluten-free options since she's celiac)! I think the only minor drawback was that we had a bit of a hard time getting the temperature right in the room since the heat was on everywhere, but it did cool down a little bit when we opened the windows. Overall, it was a great stay and we wish we could have been there longer!

Despite the fact that the rooms do not smoke, when you check in you feel that the previous guest smoked a lot in the room. I had to ask to change the room. It was also smoked, but a little less. The staff is helpful and accommodating and had no problem changing rooms. The smell is very strong. The kind that makes your head hurt. This is a problem due to the fact that the hotel works with large groups of tourists from China, which are characterized by the fact that a lot of smoke, are not disciplined and do not know other languages. There is nothing wrong with that, because the world is diverse. But, the hotel then needs to spend more time cleaning and talking to the group organizers so that they explain to tourists from China the rules of conduct in the Hotel so that all hotel guests feel comfortable, not just them.
