Fantastic hotel. We loved it. And the food in the restaurant was amazing.

Overall it was just okay. The location was a bit remote. We didn’t have a great experience with the restaurant. We asked if they were open they told us yes and to wait 5 minutes before going to sit down. We waited about 20 minutes and went into the restaurant to have dinner only to be told the kitchen was shut and they wouldn’t serve us. The staff was pretty friendly

This was a last minute booking for us, and turned out to be one of the best places we stayed our entire trip around Italy! Absolutely Gorgeous place!!! We felt we were in paradise! This is Tuscany at its finest! I will say though, the train station in the small town is rather sketchy and you should arrange for transportation before you arrive because there are no taxis or anything there. Sketchy people at the station, we felt in danger.

Helpful and friendly staff added to the overall experience - helping us hire bikes and arrange wine tasting.

Beautiful grounds, hotel and pool. The restaurant was by far so amazing! We’re lucky to have been able to call that our hotel restaurant as it should be awarded a Michelin star!

We booked a "Superior Double Room" which was advertised on the website as 377 square feet with a separate living room. What we received was an extremely small room, probably 100 square feet, with a bed and two chairs. Certainly not what was advertised. When I asked the staff, they said this is the room that was booked but does clearly not fit the description. Hotels.com should update the information to reflect what you are actually booking.

Excellent stay, wish we could have stayed longer. Recommend wine tasting with their consigliere.

It's a beautiful estate and the staff was very nice an helpful. The only thing I would give lower scores on is their restaurant - their dinner menu is very limited and pricey for the very small servings. We would definitely stay there again and just skip going to dinner there.

This was the perfect end to our Italian get-away! The staff throughout the facility was outstanding! They were friendly, helpful, cheerful. The restaurant was SPECTACULAR!!! Two of the best meals we had while vacationing were at Palagina! The chef is FANTASTIC! The front desk helped change train reservation without hesitation..she knew exactly what to do. GREAT RETREAT for us weary travelers. My one suggestion...bring mosquito spray in August!!!
