Ballachulish Hotel

We love the character of the building, dinning room has a great view of the water and sunset. Rooms were spacious, bathroom was a good size. Location was great, really close to the 3 sisters hike/viewpoint

Room is outdated. No air conditioning and traffic on the road and bridge is loud outside, so faced with the choice of either being woken up each time a car passes or shutting the windows and being hot. It would be nice if the hotel provided a fan in rooms that A customer could use to cool down and/or drown out the noise. Breakfast was very nice.

We booked this beautiful hotel to spend a weekend away. Sadly, an hour after our arrival I've received very upsetting news that my dad passed away and we had to make our way back home. We explained the situation to the receptionist and we couldn't get a refund back

Lovely place. Friendly staff, and all the old charm you could ask for with modern conveniences. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again! The food was delicious and the location perfect for exploring.

Stayed here for 1 night and get ready for a creaky stay. The building is very old and thus has lots of creaks especially the staircase. The bathroom was very slanted and felt like we might fall through the bath. The service was ok as was the food. They did run out of coffee at dinner which was a bit unusual. The bed was comfy and we had a lovely view across the water.

Great location for exploring Glencoe (5-10 minute drive) and Fort William (20 minute drive). The food in the restaurant is excellent and alcohol isn’t ridiculously priced. What was a letdown for us was the amount of noise the ceiling made when the people in the room above walked around.

Exterior and location is great and parking. Unfortunately the room was terrible. It was obvious the room had not had anything done to it in about 30years. The chairs were ripped. The hotel is in need of refurbishment and I will not be back until this is done. Not worth the money in fact not worth staying here at all. The plus points were the Barman was good as was the food.

The castle hotel is very unique and fun! I enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The hotel restaurant was good and I found it very nice to be able to eat on site with a great view. My room was very spacious and clean. I have no complaints about this very cool property. I should mention I also enjoyed the sitting room and the adorable cat residing in there.
