Location. Allowed dogs. We had 2 small dachshunds.

Carpet in the room was damp. Spoke with front desk and was told it was possibly cleaned because another dog was there the previous night. Breakfast was not up to par. Gravy was thin and runny, no eggs. Low on coffee and out of milk. Only one person was covering the front desk and breakfast area. We had previously stopped at the La Quinta in Tuscaloosa and the breakfast was amazing. I asked to have the invoice printed out and was told I would have to go to the website to get it. It was printed for us on Tuscaloosa with no problem.

Prompt check in…. And check out. Courteous and helpful staff.

Bathroom flooring was not adhered to the base flooring… so it was bubbled up and with each step it cracked making you think it was breaking or cracking. The breakfast was not hot… eggs were rubbery,no salt or pepper to be found, and no coffee in either carafe…. No one around to make any for refill.

I did not anything about the property I would not return.

The property was run down, the rooms were dirty, the service was nonexistent, on the 3rd night out rooms were supposed to be cleaned and beds made and one of the 2 rooms was completely disregarded and the other the trash was taken out, clean towels were placed but the bed was not made. When I talked to the lady at the front desk about getting that taken care of she said she couldn’t do anything till the next day.

This was not as advertised and very disappointed. I will not be booking with this hotel and reconsidering the app that I booked this through. The image on the advertised page is not the image of the actual place. The whole hotel is run down. I booked 2 rooms and once we arrived and walked into our first room you got hit with a moldy moist smell that affected my breathing within the first 10 min. As we are trying to settle in it just keeps getting worse. The room was not as clean as it should be. There were sticky spots on the nightstands. Visible stains on the carpet that still felt sticky. The sheets smelled and some items that belonged in the trash were still lying around. The other room did not smell as bad but it did smell like BO the floors in the bathroom were peeling up, again the nightstands were also dirty. In both rooms the TV was too complicated to control and the volume was not adjustable. I did ask for a room transfer to see if that would be better but the only thing better was the smell. The rooms were still in poor condition as far as maintenance and cleanliness. Our stay was booked for 4 nights so we only requested room service to clean and make the beds on the 3rd night to get our trash taken out as well as have our sheets and beds made. Well when we can back to our rooms that 3rd night one room had been addressed we got the trash emptied and clean towels but no bed made or clean sheets. The other room was completely ignored. When I went down to the front desk to ask why this was not done the lady at the front desk said “well I don’t know why it was not done what would you like me to do”? She said she could not get it taken care of till the next day. She said I could talk to the manager the next day or put in a complaint to the app I booked the room through. Not helpful at all.

The place is clean. Breakfast was decent. Travel coffee cups are standard in hotels these days. Orange juice is also standard in continental breakfasts. The condition of the floor in my room sucked! The LVP planks were literally crumbling under our feet. Couldn't walk without shoes on. This is unacceptable.
