"Theft and management inaction "

Nothing ruins a trip faster than staff theft at a hotel, unless it’s management accusing you of losing your stolen items…and needing to call the police to file a report.

There was nothing about this property that deserved more than 2 stars. Property was totally outdated. Right down to the avocado green walls in our room. We had no hot water for our shower, hot tub out order, 2 of 4 washing machines out of order, Mens lobby restroom had no toilet paper for 2 days, no decaf coffee. We were put in a room that practically butted next to Interstate 49. Should have complained but after seeing the condition of the property why bother.

"Free breakfast…and thieves"

Humble hotels can be great value, especially if they offer free breakfast, spacious rooms, a pool (indoor) and are a short Uber ride from downtown. What I didn’t count on was that the housekeeping staff at this hotel apparently likes to help themselves to guests’ possessions. Although I’d locked my tablet and a few pieces of jewelry in my luggage (there are no room safes 😒), before I left for the day I took 2 lipsticks and 2 perfume rollerballs by Caswell-Massey out of my purse and placed them in a clear gallon sized ziplock bag (the TSA kind) in the bathroom with few other toiletries. I was going to a botanical garden in 90F heat and wanted to safely stow these items in my room with AC. So imagine coming back 6 hours later to find the ziplock bag opened and the perfumes gone. The really disappointing part? The hotel declined to speak with the maid who serviced the room, so I had to get the police involved. Fortunately for me, they came to the hotel, examined the room and took a report. They declined to comment on whether the hotel has a theft problem but I definitely would not chance it by staying here again. Do yourself a favor and find a different value option nearby.

Staff was extremely friendly, hotel was very clean & lots of towels already in room

Our first room smelled & there was a pair of dirty socks left in the back corner of the room. But when we informed front desk of the bad smell, they quickly switched us to a different room
