Fairfield Inn & Suites Ames

There was no hand soap. When we asked, we were told that they didn’t get their shipment in. To me, that is unacceptable. The breakfast options were limited and the juice was served in bottles and there was no more when we came down at 8 am.

Enjoyed the friendly staff at check-in including a complimentary cookie and 24-hour coffee/tea bar.

We were just passing through, so didn’t stay long. Service was friendly and everything was in good order. The room was super noisy. We had to unplug the fridge and there was still a lot of noise from heater? Each of us to wait for hot breakfast food.

This hotel was 3 miles from Iowa State and located close to a Mexican restaurant and several full service convenience stores

It was beautiful inside and out! Very clean and accommodating. The breakfast selection was amazing with a variety for all ages. The pool and the room it was in was clean and the water was actually warm enough to swim in.

The plug in behind fridge/microwave wasn’t adapt for both appliances to be plugged in at the same time. This was odd to me but not a huge problem.

The hotel is clean and the personnel is very cordial and warm. Especially Lisa from the kitchen ; she goes beyond her duty to give a special service to the guests . Our only dissatisfaction was the night when we arrived with the thermostat of the room , it was broken and the night was chilly. Nevertheless, as soon we informed the situation , we got another room in perfect conditions.
