Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Bedroom was a little on the small side

Absolutely beautiful spot especially when the suns shining. Gorgeous front & grounds. Really good walk around the lake.

My room was very small, standard double. Would be cramped for two, stayed in 116. Very clean room, but meeded a lick of paint. For a boutique style hotel , my room lacked the boutiqueness! I think the main house rooms are more luxurious.

La vasca in bagno è da sostituire con una più moderna doccia. Spazi in camera un po' ristretti

The setting

Food was bland, rooms were small. Don’t know where they have got their 4 star from. TV in the room was from the early 2000s. Was not worth £100 room!!

The location is fabulous with beautiful countryside and walks around a lake easily accessible from the grounds. Stunning outside area. Really comfy bed .

Reception staff not welcoming at all. Outdated systems , unable to take a reserve for additional spending on drinks etc. they insist on having actual physical debit or credit card even though pre-payment of hotel has been made and even though you say you will pay for drinks and dinner.. they say they cannot check you in without physical card and can’t use card on phone. Bar in lounge not staffed and poor quality wine. Tired decor throughout .
