Beautiful place and a gorgeous building with a woods near by to walk in

Could be cleaner, the bath and Sink over flows were dirty. Long black hairs on the chairs and the bed.

Amazing property and in a beautiful setting

We had a standard room, I would call it more budget room. There was barely a room to move quite claustrophobic, very basic room. For the price I would have expect more. It could be cleaner aswell

Breakfast was excellent plenty of it and warm.

Our first visit we had a large room for our stay. This time we had a box room. It suited our needs but not as good as our previous visit. However everything else was first class

It’s a beautiful building and the grounds were lovely.

It has been run into the ground. Cost savings have meant the interior is very shabby, door handles hanging off, toilets not working, scuffs and peeling paint. Not faded grandeur, just poor maintenance. Massively understaffed. It took over an hour to get my first course and when it arrived it was inedible. I felt sorry for the staff, they knew it was bad, they just didn’t have the capacity. When we went to sleep, there was no air conditioning in the room as there was no way of turning it on as someone lost the remote control. We didn’t sleep for two days. It was a special occasion and you never get that time back. We spent it hot, irritated and not in comfort.

The food, the cleanliness, the comfortable bed and the location.

Some parts of the hotel are starting to look a bit tired. But nothing that spoils the experience
