The Queen, A Victorian Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast was excellent, the people were very nice. The design was superb.

It was a beautiful Victorian home in a very picturesque town. Makes for a perfect getaway.

Proprietor was a super helpful and caring person.

Amazing host! Nancy (the owner) is SO incredibly sweet, from the moment we stepped in, we felt like we were back home (we are 60, both of our parents are gone). This is our second visit, we will definitely be back❣️

Super clean, lovely antique decors through out, I love love love antiques so the Queen was like my dream come true kinda place:D The breakfast was delicious, staffs are super kind and friendly. Walking distance to downtown Bellefonte which is a beautiful picturesque old town. Some houses and buildings are breathtaking, downtown park is beautiful - I felt like I went back in time. FYI, the town was founded in the late 1700’s!

The location was great! In a very relaxed, calm, and quiet neighborhood. Lots of History around the area and lots of history within the bed and breakfast itself

Friendly host, super yummy breakfast and a clean and comfy room. It was a perfect overnight retreat. I also really liked the location which was in walking distance to restaurants and a lovely park. Lastly, easy parking in front of the house.

We were warmly greeted and introduced to the home and the town of Bellefonte by our hostess, Nancy. Our room was very clean, comfortable, had lots of little gems in it like a cozy ribe for each of us, coffee to make before breakfst was served, and TV, etc. Nancy's breakfasts were delicious and on time.

The owner is a lovely woman who went out of her way to welcome us and settle us in after a long drive on a rainy day. We weren't able to have breakfast on two of the mornings because of schedules, but she brought a tray up to our suite so we could eat at our leisure, which we really appreciated. We were in the Maid's Quarters, which has a full kitchen, and we were able to buy groceries and prepare food to bring to a graduation party, which was really helpful. The sun porch is lovely, and overlooks an overflowing garden - great location to unwind at the end of the day or enjoy a morning coffee.

The bed was small and uncomfortable - the futon on the porch was much more comfortable. It was also quite stuffy and the windows in the bedroom didn't open. The Victorian decor was NOT a selling point for us.

it's a historic house full of stories and we were received by the owner that was lovely and had a great time. Breakfast was delicious.

As it's an old house we had some small issues with our room, nothing too serious, but avoidable, like the AC drain liking in the room.

I am going on I think my 5th year of staying at The Queen and I keep going back. A beautiful Victorian B&B with each room decorated in its own unique way. Attention to detail throughout the house is amazing. Nancy the host will always share her knowledge of the town and local history. She will always point you in the right direction whether it is for eating out, a local attraction, or a must see/do while in the area. Breakfast is never just scrambled eggs and bacon. The creme brulee french toast is outstanding.
