Cromlix

From arrival we were welcomed and looked after very well. The staff were amazing, the hotel was stunning, the food was delicious (and reasonably priced) and we did not want to leave our stunning suite.

Absolutely loved this hotel from the moment we walked in the door. It is beautiful inside, and outside it has fantastic grounds with their own chickens and bees, and the staff were amazing. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a suite for our two night stay and wow, I didn’t want to leave it. The Albert Roux restaurant was perfect. Thoroughly recommended.

Very comfortable , helpful staff but not intrusive. Excellent food. Loved the decor in the Bowes Lyon suite!

Cromlix is a classical English guest house....it's old and very traditional.

This was our third stay at Cromlix (second since the interior was updated/renovated 5 or 6 years ago?) and it was just as magical as the times before. Fancy, but still comfortable, peaceful, and cozy.The grounds are beautiful and it feels really special. The furniture is lovely, the bathrooms are elegant, and the service is top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the few chickens wandering about by the garden and taking a short walk to the lake. A bit toasty in our room thanks to the unseasonable warmth (and being un-acclimated Americans that normally sleep in air-conditioned meat-locker temperatures). I always hope there is a next time!

A wonderful stay at Cromlix. The accommodation was outstanding as were the charming and lovely staff. A marvellous stay would thoroughly recommend Cromlix.

Absolutely stunning location and very attentive staff. Have wanted to visit Cromlix for ages and was not disappointed. A real treat in exceptionally quiet and peaceful natural surroundings.Very unpretentious.

Excellent hotel. We were made very welcome by the fantastic staff. Room was great, and very clean well appointed. We dined in the restaurant and the meal was excellent with 5 star service. Breakfast was also very good. Everything we have come to expect from this hotel group. We will return...
