Cromlix

The Cromlix Hotel is lovely in so many ways-- the property is beautiful, the staff are warm and welcoming and always available, the room was really more of a suite with its own corridor, beautifully appointed bedroom and seating area, and bathroom. Attention was paid to every detail to make us feel pampered without feeling intruded upon. The restaurant is modern and decorated simply with warm lighting and fantastic food. Lots of lovely guests to interact with in the fireplace room. I would have loved to stay much longer and explore the grounds.

5 star for food but sad to say not for the Wallace room does not compare to other hotels of this rating very dreary looking. Time for a new carpet and mattress, pillows also uncomfortable. Duvet far too heavy and warm for weather. Bathroom door sticks due to tiles having broken and not being fixed. Radiator in bathroom making noise and looks like it has been leaking. In general there seems to be a lack in maintenance. Time for a refurbish!

Very nice Hotel and good Service. Lounge Menu was limited and Public Areas were cold.

The whole experience of our stay was lovely,the staff were exceptionally polite,friendly and helpful.The breakfast was really tasty and a wonderful choice.

All members of staff are helpful and courteous. I have one minor complaint that is there are no coffee making facilities in the rooms. Personally I like to make a coffee first thing in the morning.

Lovely hotel, staff and food were great and tennis lesson was great fun!
