An excellent stay at Powercourt Hotel and Spa. Staff were helpful, attentive and welcoming. The room had a mountain view and was clean and tidy. We enjoyed a delightful dinner in the Sally Gap Bar and Brasserie. The staff were warm and created a relaxed atmosphere and the food on the menu was varied and well presented. We also used the pool and sauna with the family and overall had really enjoyable break. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for two nights.Every member of staff made us feel welcome ,were courteous and looked after our every need. The front of house staff,the doorman,the porters and reception staff were all so welcoming. They couldn't do enough for us. I would especially like to mention Mossie who was pleasant,helpful and efficient. All the staff were professional but warmly welcoming. Our suite was spacious ,bright and very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of wardrobe space in the separate walk in wardrobe room. There was lots of space for storing suitcases in it also. There was a large desk for anyone who needed to work. We had lunch in our suite one day. The serving trolley was impeccably clean and nicely laid out. The food was delicious. We had a celebration dinner for a party of six one night in the Sikka Dining Room. Our server was Nadia. She was exceptional and made the evening special. We had two vegetarians and they were delighted with the vegetarian menu. They said all the dishes they ordered were excellent,so delicious. All of us felt every course was beautifully served and delicious. Two of us had dinner in the Sikka restaurant the following night.Once again it was a wonderful dining experience. Both mornings we had breakfast in the Sikka Dining room.There was a buffet and a menu that was served.The staff were welcoming and provided outstanding service.The buffet had a variety of food.I think anyone would find lots of choices to satisfy their breakfast taste. Everything was clean and staff kept everything clean and replenished. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings.We loved the view from our suite.There is so much to do in Powerscourt. We had a lovely day in Powerscourt House and gardens which are a short walk from the hotel in the Powerscourt grounds . One of our party made a comment with which we all agreed.She said this hotel restored my faith in Irish hotels,service,food and accommodation,all exceptional.

All the staff are met were really lovely and our spa treatments were excellent

Bit disappointed that we did not have our 2 rooms if not beside each other at least on the same floor on the same side of the hotel ! One room was in the 4th floor and the other on the 5th Not ideal I would have expected as this is a 5 star hotel that the menu options for breakfast be included in the b&b package ! And finally there is nowhere to sit outside and have a drink and a snack ? Such a pity as the weather during our stay was lovely
