It’s that after 10 days of travel, this felt restorative, memorable, and genuinely thoughtful in a way that stood out even to someone who travels extensively. After a 10-day trip through Ireland with my mom and a colleague, Powerscourt Hotel Resort & Spa was the absolute perfect place to end our journey. The property itself is stunning. The setting and views are spectacular, and from the moment you arrive, every detail feels thoughtful and intentional. The hotel blends classic elegance with modern comfort beautifully. The lobby was one of my favorite spaces — warm, inviting, beautifully designed, with incredible floral arrangements and carefully chosen fabrics and furnishings that immediately made the space feel luxurious without being overly formal. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and relaxing, with incredibly comfortable beds that felt especially appreciated after extensive travel. We also had phenomenal dining experiences at both restaurants. As someone with celiac disease, I was genuinely impressed by the level of care and knowledge surrounding gluten-free accommodations. Traveling with celiac can often create anxiety around meals, but the staff handled everything with such confidence and attention to detail that I felt completely comfortable dining there. The location is also ideal. It feels tucked away in the beauty of the Wicklow Mountains while still being easily accessible to Dublin. We barely scratched the surface of everything available nearby. Between the golf course, outdoor activities, and surrounding scenery, this is absolutely a place I would return to — next time with my children, for a longer stay of at least several days. I travel frequently around the world and stay in many high-end hotels, and I can honestly say this ranks among my top five hotel experiences. Powerscourt is not just beautiful — it feels special.

Was not special. We accepted the high prices. Really disappointed with breakfast. They charge €7.50 extra for Omelette and kippers. Collect your own breakfast. Its not 5 star treatment.

The room was superb. Facilities were nice and clean. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The estate is lovely

I loved the wooden furniture around the hotel it looked so so beautiful. I loved the staff they were so helpful. I loved the gardens and the room was fantastic!

We thought the food in the sally gap was very expensive but we still got it but thought it was very expensive. We thought the sauna was very very small and only 3 people could fit in there at a time cause the other one was out of order.
