Hampton Inn & Suites Omaha Southwest-La Vista

Joseph was AMAZING! From the time of check in to switching rooms to connecting rooms for my family. He also had a listening ear with my medical condition. He made sure we were completely taken care of in the pool and our room. Anytime we are staying in Omaha this is the only motel I will stay at. I hope to see Joseph every time!!!!

There was nothing to complain about

Easy to get to, always comfortable, pet friendly

Sidewalks had not been cleared after snowfall, lobby floor was wet most of the time

Try taking cold showers with low water pressure in Omaha, Nebraska in the middle of winter. I was told that due to the large number of guest that there was nothing that could be done to improve the water pressure and its heat. They offered me 2,500 hilton points. This is ridiculous. I thought that hotels want large numbers of guest, but apparently if they are at capacity, service will be bad.

Our room wasn’t very clean and the heater/air unit was broken. The fridge made a banging noise all night. Very disappointing.

Breakfast was good. Location is very good, easy to get to.

Every thing very clean and great staff. We've stayed here before while visiting family and will again.

We had trouble getting our room temperature to warm up and hold a setting. once we dealt with that it was fine, we both slept very well.

Large junior suite was perfect. Great use of space, comfy beds and pillows, extras for the pull out couch. Remodeling was going on, but they made it work in a convenient way for guests to use a different area as a lobby and breakfast space. There was a sign in the breakfast area that said to ask for assistance if you had dietary restrictions. No one ever thinks of that! There are even beers on tap in the lobby! Place was really clean and staff was sweet.

The mattress on the pull out couch bed was very worn out. Springs were pokey. But that’s kinda to be expected.

First floor had construction going on. We're not informed of before booking! Room was King suite, dirty towel left in bathroom, tub/shower cracked, light over sink not working and let's not forget the mattress was as hard as plywood!!

We arrived in our suite and the TV was not working. The manager herself came up and fixed it (it was due to people unplugging and plugging things in like a PlayStation). The pool was so warm and cozy, like a hot springs, absolutely amazing. The breakfast was not only just normal waffle batter, but they had strawberry batter, chocolate and caramel syrup, whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate chips and strawberry topping... it was my sons birthday and it was so fun being able to make these elaborate waffles in the morning. We went to the front and asked for trash bags 2 separate times, towels and a pen. Every time, it took less than 5 minutes to get what we needed.

There were several things wrong wirh my stay. The room was advertised that it could sleep 5. It could barely sleep 2. I had to purchase a second room to accommodate my group. Next the bathroom toilet did not operate properly. To top it off the bathroom wasn't even clean. There were black hairs everywhere. Our food spoiled due to we were not informed none of the mini fridges in the hotel worked. (We found this out when I talked to the front desk.) The breakfast was disgusting. The thing that was great about this hotel was the pool. Also was given a playpen to use without the booard in the bottom. Noone seemed to know where this board is. Was given a blanket to use.
