Hampton Inn Santa Barbara/Goleta

Location was very convenient for us.

For the price, which is inflated by the location in the Santa Barbara area, it didn’t offer a very pleasant stay. The windows and curtains couldn’t be opened because we looked onto the parking lot, 1st floor, making the room claustrophobic feeling. We didn’t need to spend much time in the room fortunately. The breakfast was so-so. Lots of pre-made stuff it seemed.

Our room was clean & the hotel is well-maintained. The staff were helpful, courteous, friendly and gave good service. But most of all, we loved the daily hot breakfast & appreciated the pet-friendly atmosphere that the hotel provided.

This hotel is the quality of a one star motel. Everything was crusty, stained towels, stained furniture, uneven grout around the tiles, rusty mirror, the list goes on. For the price we paid and the reputation of a Hilton, this was a major disappointment.

They forgot to clean our room, change our towels and empty our trash. We had to call the front desk to remind them.

The hotel is a family and pet friendly. It was in a nice location. Not in main Santa Barbara but not too far away.

The hotel was fine for a family and served its purpose.
