No breakfast left with an hour of breakfast time left and no staff in site. Property is in desperate need of an update and feels like just a step above Motel 6.

After booking with booking.com for 5 people, the hotel provided a room with 2 beds only. When we complained they offered us to pay for another room, and said booking.com is our problem. Of course they let booking.com book their hotel rooms but then they take no responsibility for issues between them and booking.com. The manager’s response was I’ll talk to you in the morning, which is adding insult to injury because we are stuck with no bed for the night. They say “we’ll make it right 100%” but this is just an empty slogan. When you need them to make it right they take no responsibility. In the morning we found out that there was no issue with booking.com, the hotel simply gave our room to someone else by mistake! It was all their fault all that time!

If you are a disabled traveler or service dog handler,or if you like to stay in clean hotels, please learn from my mistake and avoid the Hampton Inn in Goleta. This hotel managed to combine clear ADA violations with a room so dirty I’m genuinely stunned it carries the Hilton name. At check-in, I told the front desk employee I had a service animal. Instead of sticking to the only two ADA-approved questions (“Is it a service dog?” and “What task is it trained to perform?”), she launched into an interrogation. When I explained my dog performs DPT, she spent two full minutes clicking around—almost certainly Googling it—before confidently announcing that DPT “doesn’t qualify” and is “more emotional support.” For clarity: DPT is a trained psychiatric service dog task fully recognized under the ADA. It does qualify. Hotel staff don’t get to decide otherwise, especially not via a google search while your customer is checking in and standing in front of you. She then told me she would “list my dog as a service animal this time,” as if ADA compliance is a personal favor. She also warned me not to leave my service animal alone in the room—another incorrect attempt to impose pet rules that do not apply to trained service dogs. And then… the room. It smelled like URINE the moment we walked in. Not a faint smell—an unmistakable, eye-watering, “someone actually let a…human…? animal? pee in here” level smell. It was so strong and disgusting that I woke up multiple times throughout the night because the scent kept hitting me in the face. The chairs had mystery crumbs. The surfaces were sticky. And after showering and getting into bed, both my partner and I broke out in hives. I didn’t expect a Hilton-branded hotel to give me a dermatological crisis and a night of urine-scent alerts, but here we are. All of this for $289 after taxes and fees. This was, without exaggeration, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

To najlepszy obiekt w jakim zatrzymaliśmy się przez 14 dni urlopu w USA. Typowy, amerykański hotel z sieciówki, ale śniadanie było bardzo zróżnicowane i było w czym wybrać. Personel bardzo miły, możliwość zrobienia prania w bardzo dobrym sprzęcie - pranie i suszenie po 3 dolary. Bezpłatny parking przed hotelem, w obiekcie bardzo czysto, wszystkie potrzebne kosmetyki na wyposażeniu pokoju. Kawę i herbatę można było zrobić w pokoju lub przy recepcji.

Clean. Easy to find. Parking included. Waters at arrival.
