My check in was great and the room was generally clean with working parts this time. Had a faulty toilet seat, unhinged fridge door and choked sinks at other visits. However to our shock there was a cockroach that ran out from behind the TV area on our 5th night. I have written in to the hotel about this, with a video, addressed to the manager, but there was no response. If it wasn't for the location there's really no other reason to stay at this property.

Modern well kept rooms that were comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection of western and local food. Connected to One Utama mall with plenty of shopping and food options. Nice pool and 24hr gym.

My family including a baby has stayed here frequently, at least for a week a month. The rooms near the lift lobbies are extremely noisy as the constant traffic means frequent buzzing of the doors as well as loud human chatter which starts as early as 6am. The reservation manager ignores requests for rooms away from the lift lobby. They don't reply to messages. The rooms are old and require maintainence. For our most current trip in room 814, the sink was clogged up and the toilet seat was broken. We had to waste time being in the room while they unclogged the sink. Toilet seat could not be repaired as they didn't have spare parts. Fridge is not cold. I don't do room service and dial for amenities instead but they make you feel like you are imposing on them. Housekeeping team is friendly and efficient mostly. On my last visit the cabinet door was hanging loose and the wall plugs were not working. Unfortunately we continue to return due to its location. Lastly, take note that they don't provide an invoice if your booking was made through hotels.com/expedia. I do hope the management can improve its customer service for non corporate customers - we are paying customers too!
