Tropikist Beach Hotel & Resort

Great and exciting stay. Great view from hotel room, very comfortable room and excellent house keeping. Friendly and helpful staff, especially from Nicole Seecharan, Isha and Ms. John. The ambience is great!!

Friendly, attentive and helpful staff, great all-inclusive package, lovely views, convenient location to beach activities. Enjoyed our stay.

Our room was a superior ocean front room, we were on the ground floor so didn’t get to see much ocean but it was pretty good. 2 double beds and a decent sized bathroom. The furniture was sticky, everything stuck to it, no coffee and no English tea, had to go hunting for this. There was a fridge which had 2 beers, 2 cokes and 4 bottles of water, these were never replenished and we were told that we had to refill our water bottles at the stations as we had to pay for bottles of water…in an all inclusive!! The air con was good. The pool area was nice, pool was clean and the gardens around it kept immaculate. There were enough sun beds and towels were provided, although they were a bit threadbare. The beach area was small and pretty rundown with rubbish strewn around. You couldn’t swim in it because of the undercurrents. The food… well… it was awful, now we are not fussy, have been travelled all over but, it was bad. It was a buffet style with only a few options. For example breakfast, the fruit section was dire. Water melon diced or sliced most mornings as your option. A couple of days there were bananas, but the worst had to be tinned fruit cocktail!! The eggs were never cooked properly. This was buffet style but you were served the food like a work canteen, the servings were tiny and you had to ask for more and were given a look as if you were greedy!! Quite a few times we ate out, as the food was awful! Every staff member, except for one of the cleaning staff and one of the evening waitresses were miserable and everything felt like an effort to them, no smiles, no chats and absolutely no customer service. We made the most of our holiday, getting out and about, the Tobagon people are lovely but most people working at this hotel, it felt, really couldn’t be bothered and it seemed didn’t want to be there! Tobago was great but this hotel is lacking in many things. A very poor all inclusive.

The resort is breathtaking especially at night with all of the lights. It was really a relaxing and fun atmosphere at the same time. The staff was accommodating and made every effort to be sure we were satisfied.

Property was excellent,. Only problem encountered was not being able to pay with cash at the bar. Otherwise, our stay was comfortable , although it was three of us in room , everything was decked off for two people.

I give 2star for a few reasons Domestic tourists is very very poor No drinking water for your guess poor A group went to for dining you fail to join the table for your group guess to Sit. Your all-inclusive is 0. When you are paying a lot for your all-inclusive you should get vodka not Dimond Rum to mess up the old couples head. Poor poor Trinidadian owners look abd review YOUR Customer Service

Everything was great only problem there is no venting system in the bathroom/toilet.
