Tango Mar Beachfront Boutique Hotel & Villas

The resort grounds are beautifully manicured, the staff were so friendly, food was good. Our accommodations in the Tiki hut was spacious, we had a nice ocean view and it was well kept. We walked the property and saw white face monkeys and a waterfall on the ocean's edge. It was a pleasure staying in this resort. We would definitely return.

We booked this property on the back end of our vacation to Costa Rica and could not be happier with our choice. The staff and the owner make you feel right at home. The resort offers 3 pools, beautiful scenery, and wonderful food and drink options. This is the place to stay if you need a serene get away with your special someone.

This is a beautiful location. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Facility and rooms are great. The dining area is really nice. Breakfast is provided and we had a really great breakfast in the morning. The rooms are really nice.

This property is beautiful and has an old school Costa Rica vibe. It's not your standard Cancun style all inclusive instead a tastefully done, beautiful boutique hotel with a Pura Vida vibe with attentive staff, owner, wonderful restaurants, lobby bar and swim up bar with great ocean view. Quiet, laid-back yet fun. Enjoy, we did and will return here again.

Precious boutique hotel, with a beautiful golden sand beach literally 10mts away from the hotel, super exclusive and private. Multiple pools and restaurants, the staff is SUPER friendly and helpful! Totally recommended :)

a paradise, away from it all!

We stayed in the tiki suite, although the style may be a little dated, it fits with the tropical theme. The view was breathtaking, the tub was amazing and we had lots of room with parking right below. The pools were not crowded and loungers were always available. The loungers are on the pool deck with uninstructed views to the sand and ocean down the grassy hill. It was like being on the beach without the mess of the sand. Steps go right down to the sand. The waves are rougher on this beach. They break very close to shore so they don’t work well for buggie boarding, but they are fun to play in and you can easily go beyond the break to just bob in the water. It seriously is such a beautiful beach. We walked to their look out, played tennis on the courts, walked to the waterfall near the property, across the stream and climbed down to our own private beach. While there we went to Montezuma falls for the day (about 20 min drive) and we buggie boarded that beach. We also took surfing lessons at hermosa beach (about an hour away). The ceviche was really good pool side, but the guacamole and chips were way over priced. Breakfast was decent. We didn’t eat at the on-site restaurants because I found places with better reviews.
