Tango Mar Beachfront Boutique Hotel & Villas

Beautiful place, loved the views and surrounding nature. Enjoyed a massage, horseback riding on the beach, and short hike to a waterfall. The first room close to the ocean and pool had spectacular views but I wasn’t able to sleep since I’m not used to hearing waves at night. The second room (tropical suite) was perfect for sleeping. The owner from Belgium was very friendly. What would make this place outstanding would be water bottles in the rooms (prefer this over wine). Also, I’m a medium-soft kind of person when it comes to mattresses, and the beds were a bit too hard for me. But overall wonderful, just needs a few extra comforts to make it exceptional.

First off the beach was great for walking, not at all for swimming but the sound of waves and feel of sand are magical. Beachfront rooms literally make you feel like you're in the ocean. Very mellow vibes here. The hotel is VERY dated, like a time warp. I think just some new furniture and fixtures would make a huge difference. The grounds are lovely but remote from anything else. Restaurant was good, can't beat the views from it.

Loved the beach and all the driftwood washed up . swimming only recommended at low tide and even then be prepared to get tossed around . Golfing at their course is highly over priced , we did see some monkeys and toucans which made it worthwhile. If you like the sound of waves this is the resort for you !

The facilities, restaurants,pool areas , rooms , beach and surroundings were well maintained BUT the access road to the resort are dirt unpaved roads from the main road , otherwise the resort is a very nice, private and quite little paradise to enjoy yourself , Thanks to all the staff for making our stay in Tango Mar Resort memorable 🙂

Tango Mar is an excellent property in a dream like setting. The sound of the pounding surf is heard from everywhere on the property and rooms are uniquely right next to the shore. Food and service is super and the staff is clearly professionally trained. All details are paid close attention to and comfort amidst this amazing setting is constant. It’s a class operation that is surrounded by beauty that could rarely be duplicated.

Great stay, amazing beach, nice hotel but a little older. Clean, great service, good food, comfortable beds. All good!!

We loved the place, so beautiful and peaceful. Kemily at the front desk could work a little more on her hospitality, and on making people feel welcomed. My only complaint over all is that the restaurant closes for a couple of hours during the day, so there is no way of ordering food or room service until after 6:30 pm when the restaurant opens again. As a pregnant woman that was a big bummer for me and my husband, we went out all day and when we came back at 4 starving, and no food because they were closed. As a hotel they should at least have a small menu for room service during the entire day. But other than that, the Room was comfortable, food was tasty and the staff at the restaurant was so friendly.
