good place for stay in Lourdes for 4 days outside of noisy center

Apartment very big, clean and close to town. Excellent, helpful staff.

Clean accommodation in a good location. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, we could not use the swimming facilities as the pool was not in a good state being the start of the pilgrim season.

It's a bit small and reeked of smoke when we got in.

We stayed for 7 nights when the hotel was practically empty, the restaurant, bar and most other facilities were closed until 25th March 2016 (when the Pilgrimage Season starts again), this was not a problem as the kitchenette was sufficient to cook simple meals, and the fridge large enough to chill milk and other perishable items. The 2 girls we saw at reception were very friendly, and every day our bins were emptied, and new towels and toilet paper provided. The day before Christmas double amounts of towels, binbags and toilet paper were handed out. We really enjoyed our stay and certainly for convenience (the Sanctuary and Grotto are walking distance and parking at the hotel is free in Winter) and price, it was a great place to stay for us and our 2 daughters. The apartment wasn't squeeky clean, but certainly had been cleaned and the bedding was fresh and clean on arrival, but wasn't changed in the 7 nights we were there (not a problem for us, and I'm sure had we asked they would have given us fresh sheets!) We have stayed in many hotels in the past 25 years of coming to Lourdes, both with organised pilgrimages and on our own, and although this wasn't 'the best' we've stayed at, the only two better hotels were also a lot more expensive, so for the price this is a VERY good place and we'd definitely recommend it!

I'm very disappointed when receptionist ask to pay for the parking.I was not on the web.And room was not ready for us.hotel is not clean, i been to Lourdes for 6 times but this is the worst hotel. sorry for the other guest in there.

Stayed only one night as we wanted to visit the Grotte & Church. Close walking distance, about 5 minutes from the hotel. Quiet neighborhood. Note it's next to a cemetery so if you can, get a room that doesn't overlook it if you get the spooks. The sofa bed was not made when we checked into the room but the 2 rooms were big (one was the living room/dining room and the other the bedroom/closet as well as a small kitchenette entryway. The bathroom is small but OK. Wifi worked well. Paid parking inside the gates or free parking by the cemetery. Staff didn't speak English so hubby's broken French got us by.
