Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston West-Energy Corridor

Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast had a ton of options, and employees were very friendly. Would stay again.

Staff is friendly

I travel with my fur-babies and we found the hotel and room very comfortable and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with how many vegan friendly items were available to purchase in the store section of the hotel that has snacks and drinks and very happy to find two choices in the breakfast dinning area for the morning meal (chia seed pudding with almond milk and overnight oats with almond milk).

Large, clean and comfortable room. Good location.

The air conditioner was difficult to get to stay at a comfortable temperature. It kept getting either too hot or too cold.

Very comfy and big rooms

We stayed in an accessible suite with 2-beds. The bedroom door clashes with the bathroom door. The bedroom door needs to have the swing reversed. Also the bathroom door is about 1’ away from the bed, making it difficult to walk around. Other than this inconvenience, the stay was excellent. We arrived on a Wednesday evening and they had a free buffet which was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I needed one more night this yr for our Diamond level and wrapped that around a date night getting away from the holiday rush. We stay exclusively at Hilton properties and this Homewood Suites was close and reasonable cost.l, so we booked the night and off we went. Stopped by a Spec’s Liquor and grabbed a nice cab. Check in was ok, with one oddity. As I said, we stay exclusively at Hilton properties but while checking in in-person, the check in person asked us for a credit card for incidentals. Never had this happen before at any Hilton - ever. I asked him about it and he said it standard at all Hilton properties. I inquired more and then he became snippy saying I must not read the fine print. Perhaps, but I’ve never given my CC for incidentals. Anyway, we got out waters and cookie and up to the room we went. My wife like Homewood as they have ceiling fans in their rooms. And this room had that. We had thought of going to a bar/grill nearby for some food and drinks, but decided since we had the wine and Grubhub delivers free to Hilton properties, we ordered in and got some great hamburgers from a small mom-n-pop, Hotline Burgers. We had a relaxing evening just decompressing. As for the room, a/c units in bedroom and kitchen/living room - super cold. Nice little kitchen. Bathroom had what it needed - hot water with good pressure. Like many Hilton properties, this one had their breakfast buffet and this particular one had a nice addition to the menu - smoked shredded chicken for breakfast tacos. It was actually very good. This is an older property as you can see the age in some places, but I would stay here again when the need arises. And if you want a good burger - Hotline Burgers just up Hwy 6 a bit. As for the free Grubhub delivery, I just opened the Grubhub app and it automatically detected my location and zeroed out the delivery fees.
