Hilton Garden Inn Macon/Mercer University

The beds were old and did not have any support in them. The gentleman in the kitchen was so kind and friendly, but the lady taking the orders at 7AM hated her job. She was fussing about why so many people was up at 7AM.

As always this property was immaculately clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming! We love staying here!

The room was quiet, beds were comfy, conveniently located by the interstate, and the hotel clerk said security regularly patrols the parking lot. One night stay with great sleep. Appreciative!

The staff is incredibly upbeat, friendly, and pleasant to be around.

We are at the beginning of day 3 at the Hilton Garden inn Macon with no hot water in our room. I have notified the front desk 3 times. I called the first day and was told someone was looking into it. I called the second day and was told "okay". On the third day I walked to the front desk, asked to speak to the manager. I was told that it has been a problem, I was given an apology and offered free breakfast. I was told I would need to return the next day after 9am to speak to a manager. This is completely unacceptable. This would be a health code violation where I live. I will be contacting city officials here in Macon Georgia.

My family stopped at this hotel for the night during a long road trip. We spent $350+ for one night and were very disappointed. The room felt dated and dingy. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. The linen was thin and rough. There was a bug in the bathroom when we got there. The bathroom ceiling looks like it had been patched up several times. Our room was a wheelchair accessible room so there was a roll-in shower which is fine but the handheld shower mechanism wasn’t working, so the shower head was knee height. The shampoo container was empty. I have typically had good experiences at Hilton Garden Inn so between that and for the price we paid, I do expect better quality. I will never stay here again.
