The staff went above and beyond. The pool and spa area were clean and inviting. The pool, at 18m, made it easy to swim my lengths. The food was a little pricey but that being said it was of an excellent quality and the staff were very accommodating in finding out if the dishes were free of my allergens. The bedroom was spacious, the bed comfy, the bedding scrupulously clean and the bathroom large and well appointed. I was very pleased that the bedroom wasn't overly warm. I can't praise all the staff, I had contact with, highly enough.

I wasn't too impressed with the breakfast buffet but that was probably a case of personal preference.

Great location for our needs and it is in lovely surroundings

Check in was absolutely soulless with no form of welcome or greeting at all. Very very dated throughout, hot room, no fan and the most uncomfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in, with a huge dip in the middle.

The facilities including the spa/pool/gym were of good quality. The dinner selection was good. The breakfast was also good.
