"Exceptional"

Staff were welcoming and efficient.Pool was clean, warm, a good size and free to use.Children allowed to swim from 3 to 6pm, perfect for our group.Free parking.Beautiful bar area.Goid breakfast.Clean comfortable rooms.

Traditional style hotel but room had everything, spa was great and breakfast ok. Georgia on reception was a big asset but all staff friendly and efficient

Cooked breakfast on 2nd day wasn’t as good as first day. Probably timed in at wrong. The music in the bar put us off drinking there as more skin to funeral music

The grounds and hotel are amazing but we found our stay awful from not being able to buy drinks with cash and no warning before staying that the hotel is card only!! The bed was rock hard and pillows were too and the room was freezing cold with the heater on full! Also found a sticky bug trap full of bugs which absolutely knocked me sick and we left at 8.30 this morning without using any of the spa facilities! Ive messaged the property and asked for some or all of our £152 back as we both feel the room we wouldn’t have payed £50 for! We felt absolutely sick at the bugs

"A really enjoyable stay"

The staff went above and beyond. The pool and spa area were clean and inviting. The pool, at 18m, made it easy to swim my lengths. The food was a little pricey but that being said it was of an excellent quality and the staff were very accommodating in finding out if the dishes were free of my allergens. The bedroom was spacious, the bed comfy, the bedding scrupulously clean and the bathroom large and well appointed. I was very pleased that the bedroom wasn't overly warm. I can't praise all the staff, I had contact with, highly enough.

I wasn't too impressed with the breakfast buffet but that was probably a case of personal preference.
