Nice size room. Bed was comfortable. Room was cleav. My wife wanted decaf coffee with hot milk. It was delivered without a cup and without the milk.

Would have liked a socket by the bed and a bedside drawer. Lighting for make up was not good. No telephone to contact room service. The only phone number was head office o. Glasgow abd theyvdifnt answer!

We’ve been before so we knew what to expect. What you see is what you get. It’s perhaps not the most characterful hotel building you’ll see but it delivers on nearly every level: comfy rooms, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, decent facilities and a relaxing countryside location not far from the picturesque Cheshire village of Tarporley. We were looking for a quiet night away and it was ideal.

Can’t thing of anything really but maybe the cheap coffee sachets in the room could be improved on.
