Wood Hall Hotel & Spa

We recently stayed at Woodhall Spa Hotel and absolutely loved it. The grounds were beautiful and so peaceful, with stunning views from our room that made the whole stay feel really special. The room itself was absolutely stunning, luxurious, comfortable and finished beautifully. Every member of staff we came across was super friendly and welcoming, which made such a difference to the overall experience. We especially loved the spa and exploring all the different rooms and spaces around the hotel for drinks and food, it all felt so relaxed and unique. Breakfast was lovely too, with plenty of choice and everything fresh and well presented. Such a gorgeous place to unwind and celebrate — we’ll definitely be back!

A charmingly located country house hotel with great views. But it's the uniformly charming and helpful staff who make a visit here special. Perhaps it's something to do with being in Yorkshire?

From the time that we arrived to our departure the staff were so attentive and helpful. Harrison greeted us and showed us to our room and helped us with our luggage. He was also helpful as we did not know how to turn on the lights in the room and initially the key card didn't work but he also resolved that for us. Will helped us set up the room for our celebrations and kept throughout the event he kept me informed and answered any questions that and actioned any requests that we asked for. The waiters were great and the food was excellent. The only small issue was that the batteries in the radio microphone had not been checked, but that didn't really matter as our guests could hear us without using the microphone. Poppi who was the event coordinator had also done an amazing job in pulling this all together

Room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good - nice array of options both hot and cold. Staff were friendly and professional and made you feel welcome

We had dinner in the restaurant and the menu was uninspiring and expensive. The steak I had was nicely done but nothing amazing for the money - having spent what we did on the meal and drinks I expected more than just 'nice'.

Beautiful location, beautiful house, staff were excellent.. so peaceful

Location was 1st rate, secluded and remote, you felt that you could leave all of life's stresses behind. Breakfast was great, all local produce, from the bread and individually packed butter, to the local bacon, sausage and eggs etc. Our room was very good, we had a very comfortable and restful night. All the staff were very helpful, couldn't do enough to help, they made our stay very welcoming, from arrival to checking out. We were both very pleased with our stay and experience at Wood Hall Spa hotel. 👍

The shower was excellent, apart from a slow draining and troublesome plug hole. Apart from that we have nothing to report.
