Went to a wedding , fabulous hotel very clean , comfortable and amazing staff . The bedroom was amazing and a huge comfy bed . I have dietary needs and the chef spoke to me to ensure they were met and my meal was fabulous . What great service.

"Beautiful luxurious hotel with fantastic service"

Beautiful building in a lovely countryside location. The staff were all great. We were there to celebrate my 50th birthday and the hotel very kindly upgraded us to a fantastic room with big bay windows and lovely views. Breakfast was great quality. We also very much enjoyed using the nice pool / jacuzzi area.

We were a bit disappointed to find the restaurant served exactly the same menu as the bar and room service (pub type dishes in the main such as sandwiches, burgers etc). Would have hoped for something more refined given the nature of the hotel. Gym was small and a bit cramped.

"A wonderful hotel and great for a weekend retreat. Very dog-friendly!"

The property is a refreshing break from city life, out in rural Yorkshire, but close to Leeds. The staff are friendly and very flexible, with great support for our dog during our stay.

I found the beds a little small as 6ft+

"One night stay"

Stayed for one night and had a great time. We were in the Willow suite which is lovely and fabulous views. We used the pool and steam room, which were small but fine for what we needed. We had food from the bar menu and ate in the drawing room, service was excellent and the food was good. Breakfast selection and quality were also very good.
