Great stay

I had a 9 day stay and had to renew my key-card to my room 7 times because they have no clue what they are doing. I would highly regret ever spending more than one night here as the staff is incompetent in pulling the reservations and making sure things go seamlessly. They sit there and cop an attitude about how they/we are jacking up their property during the high volume during the Sturgis Rally. Truly unprofessional performance as the man who claims himself the owner is unapologetic while also doing nothing to take the next step to ensue that customers are taken care of. In business because of demand? Yes. Standards to customers en masse? Lost

We had a quick overnight stay. Took a shower and went to sleep. I noticed the bathroom sink had a broken silver plug thing that not in its proper place. The bedroom fan/air conditioner was rather loud. My husband mentioned he got little sleep because of it. He eventually turned it off but then the room got too hot fast.

Location

The hotel room. The shades were broke. The tub did not drain. Room was supposed to be ADA accessible but had no walk in shower, one grab bar in the shower and on the 3rd floor. I was charged twice for the room by booking.com and Hampton and the manager did not nothing to resolve. Ruined my vacation budget and now I will.have to file a fraud claim if the 2nd payment clears my bank. I will definitely be posting my review on google.

Rooms are nice with the sitting area. Breakfast was good.

The hotels.com entry on this hotel clearly states that there is a $50 pet fee, but when I arrived, I was charged an $86 pet fee. That is ridiculous and I would not have booked the room but at that point we couldn't cancel. The manager was no help and told us we could find another place if we did not like it.

I booked Hampton because typically it’s a good experience, not looking for 5 star but usually descent. When we arrived (around 4pm) there was no one around. I had to walk around the hotel with my two toddlers to find someone to check in. And she wasn’t friendly. The beds were terribly uncomfortable. Breakfast was the same mediocre meal everyday, no variety. We had to get our keys replaced everyday because they would stop working after house keeping would “clean”. Found an old dirty sock in the room that wasn’t ours. After a few days house keeping completely stopped coming until I pulled the towels and trash up outside of our room. Not a great experience. Less than mediocre for Hampton even.
