We enjoyed our stay except for the size of the pull out couch. It’s the size of a single bed. They need to specify that during booking. And it would be nice if breakfast was open until 10:00 on the weekends. Very friendly staff and very clean.

Decent property, but overly priced. Upon check-in, the front desk person left my id and credit card information on the counter for anyone to see. 😡 Decent breakfast.

Very “unhappy” place. No one smiles at front desk. “When” there is someone there. Breakfast was horrible! We stayed there 5 nights. Same breakfast every single morning. Served sausages, that never looked liked they were cooked. Room keys every day, had to be reset.

We’ve stayed at other hotels in Spearfish and this has been the best one so far. The breakfast items were limited, but other than that, it’s a decent place to stay!

AC not hooked up to thermostat and he didn't have another room. The sofa bed is terrible and the refrigerator is noisy. The man at the desk was very nice however.

They gave our room away to someone else. They did not honor the reservation that we had made months in advance. We had 5 people and instead of the room we reserved with 2 beds and a sofa sleeper, they gave us a room with 1 bed and a sofa sleeper. One of us ended up sleeping on the floor. They did not give any discounts or any form of compensation for their mistake. They simply told us if we didn’t like it we could find another hotel. Will not stay there again.

The clerk was talking to her co-worker and didn’t even acknowledge/greet us at first. Took her time getting to the desk. Just did the bare minimum, and wasn’t able to offer info on local restaurants. The heat did not work in the room, and the window was open and couldn’t be shut. Called the front desk, clerk said she would send maintenance, but after 15 minutes and no one showed, we asked for another room. The heater in that room worked, but was very loud when it turned off and on all night. Hotel over all not well maintained.
