Blue Dreams Resort-Ultra All Inclusive

I stayed at the double delux room and it was an amazing room, awesome view, clean, comfortable, no complains whatsoever. Resort staff, especially at the front desk, very super accomodating and friendly. There are shuttle buses that go to Bodrum every 15 minutes or so for only 3TL.

This was a delightful surprise, especially as it was a last-minute trip decision with no choice of hotel. Everyone was friendly & helpful, even when limited English hampered communication. Food was incredible - a wide array of Turkish specialties & favorites, including freshly-baked flatbread, rotating kabobs, fresh seafood, & unbelievable panorama of desserts.

Plusses: great location, convenience of all-inclusive, beautiful views, friendly staff, large buffet selection, children's activities. Minuses: food quality pretty average, disco very noisy till late at night, a-la-carte restaurants very average and would be more appropriately named 'set menu' as there is no choice; expensive to get in and out of Bodrum by taxi, children's activities curiously late (e.g. mini disco from 9-10pm??)

Wifi connnection was very intermittent and didnt work at all in the bedrooms. But apart from that it was a v good hotel. Food was truly amazing and the hotel restaurant was the best part of the stay - the manager of the restaurant was one of the finest ever in his field.

Hotel was comfortable but certainly not worthy of 5 stars. Most hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel seemed spacious with plenty of different areas to sit in and no pressure on beds around the pool. Frequent dolmus (mini bus) into Bodrum for 2.5 lire. On main Bodrum Milas highway so unable to walk outside the campus ( I was aware of its location so not a problem for me). Beach was very disappointing; especially as I'd stayed in Torba, which has a lovely sandy beach, and is only about 2k away. Food was typically Turkish which I enjoyed and the wine was much better than the hotel in Torba. There seemed to be a good mix of British, Swiss, Turkish and French; with no nationality seeming to predominate. I would considr returning if the price was right. We felt it was good value.
