Everything was fine. My partner wished for more washcloths, but we didn't go to the desk and ask for more, so it was no big deal. The room was quiet and we had a view of the towering Pines behind in the green space. Breakfast was good, self-serve as expected. Actually, a plus as Booking.com did not mention free breakfast.

The room was okay. The bathroom was dirty and the toilet was not set properly. It wiggled at the base when sitting down. The window was filthy. I have stayed before and have not run into this before. I let them know at the front desk.

I stayed in the deluxe king with spa tub, and got another deluxe king suite for my parents. The rooms were worn and dated, but overall comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was clean and fantastic to relax in after hiking, and it was lovely to sit on the 'patio' under the pines and soak up the cool breeze with the squirrels and birds. The fan blocked out the noise of highway 260 when turned on, and our room had a fridge big enough to handle all of our water, hiking snacks and sports drinks. The fireplaces are more of a decoration than a heating element, but the ambience was great and the room AC/heater was perfectly capable of keeping us comfy. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful when checking in and out, and when switching rooms. The outdoor pool was heated and my sister was able to enjoy it on a a 72-degree day.

The breakfast options were limited. No matter what time we went during the 7-9:30 window, things ran out and were not replaced unless we asked for them specifically (until Wednesday morning). When I first checked into our room, the fireplace was missing its glass cover and didn't work. The mini fridge was completely frosted over. I asked for a room change and we went next door, where everything looked alright. Everything at the property, from doors to walls to headboards needs a fresh coat of paint. The Direct TV signal was terrible. A lot of the channels listed on the guide in our room were not even available, though I wasn't there to watch TV so I didn't care too much about this. The ice machine nearest to us was broken, leaving just the ice machine in the guest laundry room on the other end of the property. The daily housekeeping was minimal; our trash was emptied, but the TP and toiletries were not replaced.
