Cold shower

I liked the style of the hotel very much - a little quirky and like a museum. This gave the hotel some added character that you do not get with the new modern non-descript hotels.

It was disappointing there were not more guests in the hotel, giving the property more 'life'.

Good architecture

Poorly maintained hotel despite the great architecture and situation. A very poor breakfast...no consideration for guests....very old furniture....very dirty bathroom...very old carpets....very old equipment...can be allnold this is quite fine but dirty this is not acceptable. See the pictures for the extraordinary breakfast!!!!! Ants everywhere in the food and when I have called the waiter he just removed the ants and kept allbin another plates. Such behavior is reflecting lack of consideration and respect. Does not worth to stay there even for free.

Price and the old antique decor in the public places

There were bugs in our room, the breakfast was disgusting and inadequate. The area was seedy, the front desk man was unconcerned about his job and would not answer me when I asked why he charged us 35% more than our Booking.com reservation. There is so much deferred maintenance, it would be hard to know where to start.

We were happily welcomed. In the morning we enjoyed a good breakfast.

Place wasn't the cleanest. We asked for non smoking room and clearily did not spend our night in a smoke free hotel nor room. There was also a big party in the club across the street, which caused a hard time sleeping, good thing we brought our own ear plugs.
